BBNaija Season 8 All-Stars edition housemate Mercy Eke was in tears during her diary session and asked to leave voluntarily. 

Mercy Eke recalled the recent altercation between her and another roommate Alex the night before the Guinness game.

Remember how Alex and Mercy Eke got into a furious argument? It all happened during that encounter.

Although Mercy Eke's reaction was short, Alex continued by yelling about it around the house and calling Mercy Eke names.

Alex said that Mercy Eke's comment that Alex often becomes sad and dissatisfied whenever she loses a game or fails to win anything caused her outburst during their talk yesterday.

Mercy Eke said in her journal session that Alex had advised her to "go and die," a remark that had a profound impact on her and left her feeling very alone.

She admitted to Big Brother that although she typically tries to be tough, the effect of the remark left her feeling exhausted and led her to sometimes consider quitting the home.
