Manchester City have announced that midfielder Bernardo Silva's contract has been extended.
The Portuguese international played a key role in Pep Guardiola's team winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League last season.
Despite offers from other clubs in Europe, Pep Guardiola was desperate to maintain the important playmaker.
According to reports, the 29-year-old is garnering attention from both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
In the meantime, Bernardo Silva's new contract has effectively put an end all other teams' interest in him when he agreed to a new agreement that would keep him at the club until 2026.
Bernardo Silva joined Manchester City from Monaco in a £43 million move and has gone on to become a key player in Pep Guardiola's club.
