Chelsea has decided to sell Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech to Galatasaray in Turkey this summer despite two unsuccessful efforts to sign him.
In the next days, Hakim Ziyech is anticipated to have his medical check with the Super Lig team.
Since January, the club has been attempting to sell the 30-year-old player since he is no longer needed at Stamford Bridge.
He was about to sign with Paris Saint-Germain in January, but Chelsea allegedly failed to complete the necessary paperwork before the winter transfer window closed.
Hakim Ziyech came extremely close to joining Al Nassr of the Saudi Pro League earlier this summer, but the move fell through when the Moroccan winger failed his medical.
Remember how Chelsea acquired Ziyech from Ajax in 2020 for £33.3 million? He has since made 107 appearances for the Premier League team across all competitions.
When American entrepreneur Todd Boehly and his Clearlake consortium acquired Chelsea in May 2022, Ziyech nearly totally lost his position there.
