Robert Sanchez, a goalkeeper for Brighton, has officially signed a long-term contract with Chelsea for £25 million.
According to reports, Sanchez has agreed to a seven-year contract with Stamford Bridge and is now Mauricio Pochettino's newest acquisition.

The 25-year-old will serve as a substitute and opponent for fellow international Kepa Arrizabalaga of Spain.
If you remember, Edouard Mendy left Chelsea and joined Al Ahli in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

But the same year, Roberto De Zerbi replaced him with Jason Steele, and Sanchez was demoted as a result.

Towards the close of the previous season, Sanchez frequently dropped from the the Brighton squad and did not go on the team's preseason trip.

The Spanish international joins Diego Moreira, Axel Disasi, Nicolas Jackson, Lesley Ugochukwu, Angelo, and Christopher Nkunku as the Blues' seventh summer additions.

Chelsea will play Liverpool in their Premier League debut the following Sunday.

In their first game of the 2023–24 season, the Blues welcome Jürgen Klopp's team to Stamford Bridge.
