Manchester City have confirmed signing of 21 years old defender Joško Gvardiol

Josko Gvardiol, a defender, has been acquired by Manchester City from RB Leipzig. 

Pep Guardiola reportedly confirms the £77.6 million transaction, according to information.

Gvardiol has committed to Manchester City for five years. 

In order to defend the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League titles they won the previous year, Pep Guardiola wants to strengthen his defense.

The 21-year-old joins Mateo Kovacic, another Croatian international, as City's second summer additions.

Gvardiol, who moved to Leipzig from Dinamo two years ago, has made 87 appearances for the Bundesliga team and has won the German Cup twice.

The Croatian has also made 21 appearances for his country and was a member of the team that last year advanced to the World Cup semifinals.
