The Delta State Police Command said that it had arrested four further individuals for allegedly possessing guns, neutralized four suspected armed robbers, and seized firearms and what was thought to be Indian hemp.This information was released in a statement on Tuesday that was uploaded on the command's Twitter account and signed by DSP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for the Delta State Police.
The men on the tricycle were waved down to halt, but instead of doing so, they jumped out and fled, necessitating police officers' pursuit, he said, adding that the four suspects were murdered after a fight with police.
