Maliha Mohammed, a chef from Kenya, has broken Hilda Baci's record for the longest cooking marathon.
Mohammed succeeded in her endeavor a few months after indicating her intended to do so.
If you recall that the longest cooking marathon was completed by 26-year-old Hilda Baci in 93 hours and 11 minutes.
On Tuesday, June 13, she was formally recognized as the owner of the Guinness World Record.
After cooking for 95 hours and 15 minutes, Chef Mohammed, who started her cook-a-thon on August 11, unofficially broke the previous record.
In order to celebrate her latest achievement, the mother of two—who had already achieved the Guinness World Record in 2019—posted images online.
However, the new culinary record set by Chef Mohammed has not been acknowledged by Guinness World Records.
