Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored his first goal for Marseille since joining the Ligue 1 club.

After making a lackluster comeback to the Premier League last season, the former Arsenal striker made the decision to go to France.

You may remember that Aubameyang, whose contract with Arsenal was canceled, joined Chelsea in January after just six months with Barcelona.

The Gabonese player failed to adjust at Chelsea, which caused him to drop down the pecking order under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard.

Chelsea, though, let Aubameyang to join with Marseille at the beginning of the current campaign.

Meanwhile, two minutes into Marseille's game against Panathinaikos, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his first goal for the club.

In the UEFA Champions League play-offs, Marseille is presently facing the Greek team.

Aubameyang will be trying to assist Marseille in securing their entry into the UEFA competition's group round.
