Last month, ex Liverpool skipper completed an unexpected transfer to the Saudi Pro League team, where he secured a mind-blowing £700,000-per-week contract.

Jordan Henderson, 33, teamed up with Steven Gerrard, a legendary Reds player who was just named the team's manager.

The English international was selected for Al-Ettifaq's preseason match against Al Jazira and will soon make his debut in the team's colors.

The 33-year-old signed a three-year deal and traveled to Saudi Arabia last month to finalize his contentious transfer.

In the meanwhile, Moussa Dembele, a former Lyon and Fulham striker, will make his debut alongside Jordan Henderson.

Henderson will wear the number 10 jersey and wear the armband on his debut outing.
