Marc Cucurella agrees personal terms with Manchester United after frustration of being benched at Chelsea

Marc Cucurella and Manchester United have reached an understanding in principle with regards to a transfer to Old Trafford this summer 

Manchester United and Marc Cucurella have been associated because of Erik Den Hag's side injury. 

Luke Shaw and Tyrrell Mallacia, two left backs, are now injured and will be out for a number of weeks, United said throughout the week. 

Despite ongoing negotiations with Chelsea over a prospective transfer, Marc Cucurella is of interest to the Red Devils on a loan basis.

The Blues are said to be open to deals, but would rather the left-back go permanently than on a loan. Nonetheless, they may take the pay off their books nonetheless.

If you remember, the Spanish defender joined Chelsea from Brighton Hove Albion last season but was benched by Mauricio Pochettino, the new manager.
