The manager of the Arsenal made the decision to surprise the new signing's grandfather.
Together with Mikel Arteta and Edu, Raya's granddad Joaquin posed with a personalized Arsenal jersey.
If you remember, David Raya was officially signed by Arsenal on a temporary loan from Brighton Hove Albion.
According to understanding, the 27-year-old goalkeeper will sign a three million pound loan agreement with an option to make it permanent for thirty million pounds.
Raya attended his reveal with his girlfriend, parents, and other family members.
