
Mohammed Kudus, a Ghanaian midfielder, was acquired by West Ham on Sunday from Ajax for a reported £38 million ($47 million).
West Ham has signed Kudus, who was wanted by Brighton and Manchester United, to a five-year deal, making him their fourth significant acquisition of the summer.
For Ajax last season, the 23-year-old scored 19 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions.
Prior to joining West Ham, He also contributed three goals to Ajax's victory against Ludogorets in the Europa League play-off last Thursday in Bulgaria.
The Ghanaian midfielder will be a part of David Moyes' confident squad after their remarkable 3-1 victory against Brighton at the weekend.
