"My mother is always afraid whenever I start for Barcelona" - 16 Years old youngster Lamine Yamal

Lamine Yamal, after his outstanding performance for the Catalan giants on a Sunday afternoon, revealed his mother's real feelings when he plays for Barcelona.

In a thrilling 4-3 triumph against Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica, Yamal turned in a remarkable performance that earned him the Man of the Match award. Barcelona had fallen down 3-2 at the time.

The 16-year-old contributed an assist, becoming him the youngest Barcelona player to do so in the twenty-first century. 

Lamine provided the assist for Gavi's first goal while also hitting the woodwork twice. 

Even the other team's supporters stood up to applaud him because they saw how talented the La Masia graduate was.

The young Spaniard was questioned about his mother Sheila Ebana's feelings as his career progresses after the game.

"My mother is afraid for me when I start, but she supports me a lot," he said
