Nicolas Jackson, a Senegalese attacker, wasted no time in greeting his new Chelsea colleague Moises Caicedo after Facetiming him before to his arrival at the club.

Following Caicedo's record transfer to Chelsea, the pair already seemed to be developing a friendship off the field.

Following a protracted negotiation between Chelsea and Liverpool, the Ecuadorian midfielder ultimately decided to sign with the Blues on an eight-year contract with an additional year's option.

Chelsea's supporters were thrilled when Jackson called Caicedo, as shown in a video that has now gone viral on social media.

"Hopefully, we are going to do great things together," continued Jackson. "Make sure you give me the balls though."

Caicedo then replied: "I am going to give you loads of assist."
