"There’s no great achievement in winning a trophy with Bayern" - Michael Owen gives Harry Kane advice as Tottenham accept Bayern Munich bid

Michael Owen has advised Harry Kane not to go for Bayern Munich this summer despite rumors that the German powerhouse and Tottenham have completed a deal.

Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur agreed earlier today on a transfer price for the acquisition of Harry Kane.

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur reportedly accepted a deal of more than £86.4 million, and now it is up to Kane to decide whether he wants to remain with the London club or go to Bayern Munich.

Former Manchester United and Liverpool player Michael Owen, though, feels that winning a title with Bayern Munich is not a very noteworthy accomplishment.

Owen thinks Kane should stay at Tottenham so he can surpass Alan Shearer's record of scoring the most goals in Premier League history.

Owen tweeted: "I know Bayern Munich are a massive club and I have huge respect for them but if I were Harry Kane I’d stay put.

"There’s no great achievement in winning a trophy with them. Real Madrid I would understand. Or one or two top Premier League clubs for that matter. Becoming the all time Premier League top goal scorer at Tottenham is a bigger achievement than winning the league in a country dominated by 1 team."
