Today, Saturday, August 5, 2023, Chelsea has officially acquired goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Spanish international made his first appearance in Blues colours.
Last season, the goalie was among the Premier League's best shot savers as he assisted Brighton in earning a spot in the Europa League.
Robert Sanchez is anticipated to challenge Chelsea's starting goaltender Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Mauricio Pochettino replaces Edouard Mendy, who left to join Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia, by signing Sanchez.
Chelsea will kick off their Premier League match against Liverpool next week.
The Blues will host Liverpool at the Stamford Bridge next week Sunday in their match day 1 fixture.
