Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, was a prominent Nigerian artist who just lost his mother.
According to information obtained by Punch, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the famous singer's mother, passed away at approximately 1.30 am on Friday.
Mrs. Balogun passed away early on Friday, according to Sunday Are, Wizkid's longtime manager, who confirmed the event to The PUNCH.
"Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am," Sunday Are said.
