West Ham United has an agreement in principle to sign Manchester United defender Harry Maguire for £30 million.
This is according to the Mirror who reported that the deal was finalized on Monday afternoon.
In a bid to bolster their lineup for the coming season, the Hammer's, under their head coach, David Moyes have identified Harry Maguire as a perfect suit to mount the defense for West ham United.
It could be recalled that Harry Maguire, who has been Man United Captain for the past two seasons was stripped of the arm band after falling out of favor under United head coach Erik Ten Hag. Although this can not be seen as the main reason for the departure, it would be seen as a win on the part of the 30 year old defender who will be looking to revive his career with the Hammer's next season.
Harry Maguire, who joined Manchester United in 2019 for £80 million played a total of 118 games for United and scored 4 goals. He was also among the player's that won the 2023 league cup final at Wembley stadium.
