Christopher Nkunku had to leave the field after only 22 minutes of the Chicago match against Borussia Dortmund at Soldier Field.
Following Christopher Nkunku's forced exit from Wednesday night's match between Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund due to an injury, Mauricio Pochettino expressed his optimism that the situation was not severe.
The Frenchman seemed to have a knee problem as he collapsed after making just a little effort to intercept a ball from Nicolas Jackson.
Nkunku first had treatment on the sidelines until halftime but did not seem to return after the break.
Pochettino said: "The doctors are checking him hopefully it is not a big issue but when he fell in the action maybe it was a penalty. Had the chance to score. But he feels something in his knee but hopefully it is not a big issue and that he can be quick with the team. Now we need a few days to assess him and until we get back to London it is difficult to know."
If you remember, RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku transferred to Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
