John Terry, a Chelsea icon, has joined Al-Shabab and is "set to make his first managerial position."
The Saudi Pro League team reportedly contacted Terry two months ago, and a verbal agreement was made. This is according to the UK Sun.
It's been gathered that a two-year minimum first contract was made available to the 42-year-old.
If the transaction is completed, however, this might last up to four years.
Terry would join other former Premier League players in the Saudi Pro League, including his former England teammate Steven Gerrard, who presently manages Al-Ettifaq, if he is given the position.
Terry has worked as a consultant at Chelsea's youth program this year; this would be his first full-time managing position.
