Kyle Walker, an English defender, has signed a two-year contract extension, according to Manchester City.
The former Tottenham Hotspur defender has agreed to sign a two-year extension with the Etihad Stadium.
The 33-year-old had reportedly reached the last year of his previous contract and had been linked with a summer transfer to Bayern Munich.
Remember how Walker was said to be about to leave City last season after losing his spot in the team?
The English defender has now started each of City's four matches in the Premier League this season, along with the Super Cup final, and it looks that things have improved for him. He has also served as captain for every one but one of those games.
Walker has six years and 13 major titles at City, and with the new contract, he will remain there until 2026.
Kyle joined City in August 2017 after leaving Tottenham on a £45 million transfer.
