"Onr month, two awards" - Bayern Leverkusen reacts after Nigerian striker Victor Boniface wins Bundesliga Player of the Month for August

Victor Boniface, a striker with the Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen, has been named the Bundesliga Player of the Month for August.

The 22-year-old scored two goals and provided one assist during his debut month in the Bundesliga.

According to reports, Boniface has received two individual honors since joining Leverkusen. In August, he was voted Rookie of the Month.

Noah Atubolu, a German-born Nigerian goalkeeper for Freiburg, and RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons were defeated by Boniface who claimed the award.
