Erling Haaland completed a second-half hat-trick to finish off a stellar week as Manchester City defeated Fulham to maintain their perfect record in the Premier League.
Haaland had assisted Julian Alvarez in scoring the first goal, and with the score at 2-1 heading into the second half, the Argentine returned the favor by sending him rushing into the box with a beautiful first-time ball for City's third goal.
After Issa Diop fouled Alvarez, the Norwegian maintained his composure to score City's fourth goal from the penalty spot.
When Haaland finished off Sergio Gomez's cut-back to win yet another match ball, he had already been chosen man of the match.
Alvarez scored the game's first goal on the half-hour, although Fulham would contend that Tim Ream's equalizer right before the interval was the game's turning point.
Tony Harrington, a video assistant referee, determined an offside. Despite making a move for the ball, Manuel Akanji was not obstructing play as Nathan Ake's 10-yard header sailed by him.
