Thomas Partey sustained an injury prior to Arsenal's matchup with Manchester United
The Ghana Football Association has revealed that Thomas Partey, a star for Arsenal, was hurt during a workout.
Chris Hughton left Partey out of his team for the forthcoming international break, and a statement has now been made saying that the 30-year-old may be out for some time.
It's unclear what the specific problem is, but it now seems like Partey won't play against Manchester United on Sunday in the Premier League.
The ex Atletico Madrid player had played the first three Premier League games for his team as an inverted right-back. Given that versatile defender Jurrien Timber suffered an ACL tear against Nottingham Forest last month, it is a serious setback for Gunners manager Mikel Arteta.
Mikel Arteta could call up Jorginho to replace injured Thomas Partey during their Premier League match against Manchester United.
