"Why I fought with Arsenal coach after Gunners defeated City 1-0" – Kyle Walker

Kyle Walker, a defender for Manchester City, has provided an explanation for the altercation that occurred in the tunnel after their 1-0 Premier League loss to Arsenal.

Gabriel Martinelli's late goal at the Emirates ended a close game.

As the players exited the pitch in north London, tempers rose and Walker and Erling Haaland were among those who were clearly enraged.

Walker responded when questioned about the incident this week while serving in England.

“I don’t like losing. A couple of matches before, Nico, who worked for Man City, did not want to shake hands when we beat them before.

“When we lost, he wanted to shake my hand and I did not take it lightly. Simple as that.

“I have been concentrating on England but I will probably reach out to him, definitely. I will say, it was probably a bit too much.”
