After suffering a broken leg in an odd skiing accident, Manuel Neuer is finally expected to rejoin the Bayern Munich squad.
Neuer's 10-month injury nightmare comes to an end on Saturday when Bayern take on Darmstadt in the Bundesliga, according to Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel. Tuchel is not concerned about his goalie's health despite the absence.
On December 10, 2022, Neuer revealed that he will be missing the remainder of the season due to a broken leg sustained on a ski trip at Roßkopf on Spitzingsee in Bavaria.
On October 23, 2021, Neuer won his 300th Bundesliga match in his 447th game overall.
In the 2021–22 Bundesliga season, Bayern emerged victorious with three games remaining.
Following the season, Neuer's contract at Bayern Munich was extended until 2024.
As you may remember, during the start of the 2022–2023 season, he had clean sheets in four of his twelve appearances in the Bundesliga and all three of his Champions League games.
