Pep Guardiola has acknowledged the success of Mikel Arteta at Arsenal ahead of their EPL showdown.
Guardiola's City will face Arsenal at the Emirates stadium on Sunday evening in Premier League fixture.
If you recall that Arteta got one over his master, Pep Guardiola when they faced each other in the Community Shield earlier in the season.
Also, Mikel Arteta defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup in 2020 to clinch the trophy but since then, Guardiola side have dominated the Gunners.
Arsenal will hope for a positive result when they play City that defended their Premier League title last season.
Although Gunners led in major part of the season but things fell apart towards the end which saw City beat them home and away to take the victory.
Pep Guardiola praised Mikel Arteta who worked as his assistant at City before he moved to Arsenal.
Guardiola on Arteta: "Arsenal have a manager for many years, he loves the club!".
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach said that he learned alot from Arteta. He added that Mikel Arteta loves Arsenal and the fans
He added, "All the success he has belongs to Mikel Arteta and the club Arsenal, not me. People say: he was with Pep and learned a lot. Trust me, I learned a lot from him".
