Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, expressed his anger against Cole Palmer, the striker, for hurling a bottle at him.
This incident occurred during Chelsea's London derby against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
You may remember that last week, Chelsea squandered away a two-goal advantage to draw 2-2 with Arsenal in a Premier League match at Stamford Bridge.
Palmer, who moved from Manchester City to Chelsea in the summer, impressed against the Gunners and gave Pochettino's team a goal.
However, Palmer threw a bottle into the dugout after Arsenal's late equalizer, and Pochettino was struck by it.
Pochettino dismissed the incident when he spoke at his news conference on Friday, one day before Chelsea's Premier League match against Brentford on Saturday.
He said, “I was so angry (laughs) because I didn’t expect or see when it came.
“When I turned and he was like, ‘Sorry!’ – it was a little unlucky. Good thing that it didn’t damage me!”
This next weekend, Chelsea's match day 10 EPL encounter against Brentford, another London team, is scheduled.
However, at a press conference, Mauricio Pochettino made a joke about Cole Palmer's lack of availability.
