Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, and William Troost Ekong Cleared of Prohibited Substances
Following their stellar performance for the Super Eagles against Cameroon in the round of 16 #AFCON2023, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, and William Troost Ekong have received negative results from doping tests, absolving them of any prohibited substance.
Nigeria secured their place in the quarterfinals after a triumphant victory over the Indomitable Lions.
Victor Osimhen demonstrated remarkable stamina and prowess during Nigeria’s recent 1-0 win over Guinea-Bissau on January 22, catching the attention of fans and authorities alike.
In adherence to standard procedure, random doping tests were conducted due to the exceptional energy levels displayed by Osimhen and other key players.
Reports indicate that CAF subjected Osimhen to doping tests after Nigeria’s 2-0 triumph over Cameroon on January 27; however, the actual tests occurred following the Super Eagles’ encounter with Guinea-Bissau.
