American Club Welcomes Star Striker Oshoala in Major Transfer Deal
American soccer club Bay FC has successfully acquired the talents of Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala from Barcelona Women, in a transfer deal shrouded in secrecy regarding the fee involved.
The 29-year-old football sensation has committed to a contract with Bay FC until 2026, with the added possibility of extending for a third year. Oshoala, renowned for her impressive achievements, had an outstanding five-year stint in Spain, securing four league titles, clinching the Champions League twice, and adding eight domestic cups to her name.
Despite having five months left on her contract with Barcelona, Oshoala decided to embark on a new chapter with the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) team. Her remarkable track record includes a total of 117 goals in 162 appearances for Barcelona, where she made a significant impact since joining from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian in 2019.
Having previously showcased her skills with Liverpool and Arsenal, Oshoala's arrival at Bay FC marks a significant addition to the team's roster, signaling a promising era for the NWSL club.
