Nicolas Jackson's strange moment on the sidelines during Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace raised eyebrows as he managed to pick up a yellow card despite not being on the pitch. 

Despite having been substituted 15 minutes prior, Jackson couldn't contain his excitement after Chelsea's third goal and dashed across the pitch to join the celebrations, resulting in a caution from the match officials.

The breach of leaving the technical area did not go unnoticed, and Jackson, aged 22, was promptly shown his ninth booking of the season, putting him just one yellow card away from facing a two-match suspension.
