Bayer Leverkusen Forward, Boniface Complains of Nigeria's Heat from Germany
Nigerian Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface,took to his social media space expressing his discomfort with Nigeria's hot weather all the way from Germany.
Boniface, in his tweet, lamented about the scorching heat in Nigeria, jokingly suggesting that even the fictional character 'Avatar' would struggle in such conditions. He tweeted, "Abu fire Lord think say avatar dey Nigeria, heat one kill us ooo".
Currently sidelined due to an injury, Boniface missed out on participating in the 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament. Despite being initially listed in the Super Eagles squad, he had to return to Germany for surgery and subsequent rehabilitation.
Sources indicate that Boniface is expected to be out of action for approximately three months, as he focuses on his recovery and rehabilitation process.
