Lille, the French football club has paid tribute to their former star player Eden Hazard by naming a pitch at their training ground after him.

The unveiling ceremony included the presentation of a plaque dedicated to the Belgian forward, with Hazard himself present for the occasion.

Eden Hazard commenced his professional career at Lille, where he made a significant impact over the years. Making his debut for the club in 2007, Hazard went on to make 194 appearances, during which he scored 53 goals and provided 50 assists. His contributions were instrumental in Lille's success, notably helping the team secure the league title in 2011.

Transition to Chelsea and Success

In 2012, Hazard made a pivotal move to Chelsea, departing Lille for a transfer fee of £32 million under the management of Rafa Benitez. His tenure at Chelsea was marked by immense success, with Hazard becoming a beloved figure among the fans. He played a key role in the team's triumphs, clinching two Europa League titles, an FA Cup, and a League Cup during his time at the club.

Challenges at Real Madrid

Despite his accomplishments at Chelsea, Hazard faced challenges upon his transfer to Real Madrid.
