"Mo Salah is not world class, He is not good with the ball and majority of his goals are lucky goals"- Ex Nigerian striker Yakubu Ayegbeni

Former Nigerian footballer Yakubu expressed his opinion on Mohamed Salah, questioning the Liverpool forward's world-class status and playing abilities.

 Yakubu claimed that Salah is not world class, citing his perceived shortcomings with the ball and attributing the majority of his goals to luck.

Yakubu on Mohamed Salah:

“Salah is not world class in my opinion. He is not good with the ball and majority of his goals are lucky goals!, "The retired Nigerian footballer said. 

In Yakubu's view, Mohamed Salah does not qualify as the greatest African player to have graced the Premier League. Instead, he identified a list of players including Okocha, Drogba, Kanu, Yaya Toure, Adebayor, and Sadio Mane as the true greats of African football in the Premier League.

 

The former Everton star added, "You can’t say Mohamed Salah is the greatest African to play in the Premier League. The greatest African players in the Premier League are Okocha, Drogba, Kanu, Yaya Toure, Adebayor and Sadio Mane.”

While some may agree with Yakubu's assessment, others continue to laud Salah's contributions and influence on the game.

Yakubu's remarks have sparked discussions among football enthusiasts, with differing opinions emerging regarding Salah's talent and impact in the Premier League.
