FC Bayern Munich Announces Contract Extension for Aleksandar Pavlović
FC Bayern Munich has confirmed the extension of Aleksandar Pavlović's contract until June 30, 2029.
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder has been with the club since 2011, progressing through the youth ranks to make his debut with the senior team in October 2023.
Pavlović expressed his delight at the contract extension, stating, "Unfortunately, this tonsillitis has denied me my dream of playing in the European Championship on home turf, which is very disappointing – but I'm thrilled that my contract with FC Bayern has been extended until 2029. It shows the club has trust in me, which I'm eager to repay. FC Bayern is my home. I'm proud, happy and grateful, want to win trophies with the team and continue my personal development."
Pavlović has already made a significant impact on the pitch, scoring one goal in a 3–2 away win over Augsburg in January 2024 and providing one assist in a 4–0 away win over Borussia Dortmund in November 2023.
