N'Golo Kante, the talented midfielder, made a successful return to the French national team after a two-year hiatus, earning the Man of the Match award in France's 1-0 victory over Austria in their Euro 2024 group stage match on Monday night.

Kante, formerly of Chelsea and Leicester City, was recalled by French coach Didier Deschamps for the 2024 European Championships. Starting for Les Blues, Kante impressed throughout the match, controlling the midfield and dictating the pace of the game.

After the match, Kante expressed his delight at being back with the national team, stating, "Thanks everyone! I'm delighted to be back, it's nice! I like to be with the national team." He also shared his appreciation for the fans' support, saying, "I loved it when the fans started chanting my name… merci! Thank you" in an interview with TF1.

Kante has had an illustrious career with France, making 53 appearances and scoring 2 goals since his debut in 2016. His return to the team is a significant boost for France's chances in the Euro 2024 tournament.

Kante has made a high-profile move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, marking a new chapter in his career. The French midfielder joined Al Ittatihad from Chelsea last year.
