Actress Angela Okorie has publicly criticized her colleague, Yvonne Jegede, for her comments regarding Queen May Edochie, the wife of Yul Edochie. 
It was learnt that Yvonne had initially expressed support for Yul Edochie's decision to take a second wife, Judy, on a podcast, but later apologized to Queen May for her remarks.
Angela Okorie has rejected Yvonne's apology, accusing her of being insensitive and disrespectful. In a strongly worded response, Angela Okorie stated, "Failed actress with no pedigree, speaking like someone with diarrhea of the mouth, insulting another woman's pain." She went on to say, "Some people and their cohorts do propaganda, claiming their mother is mad. Not every mother is a mother, not every wife is a wife; some wives are knives."
Angela Okorie further criticized Yvonne Jegede, saying, "Yvonne, your comments on that podcast showed how low and senseless you are. Some Nollywood girls are used to being second wives, snatching people's husbands, so it's normal to them. How can a woman who sucked her mother's breast for nine months talk like that?" She concluded by saying, "Now, you're writing nonsense epistles. Numbskull, you're old in Nollywood but still don't have sense. Please shift, let me see human beings."
Angela Okorie's response highlights the ongoing controversy surrounding Yul Edochie's decision to take a second wife and the impact it has had on his first wife, Queen May Edochie.
