Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi-Lokonga is on the verge of completing a loan move to Sevilla from Arsenal, with a medical scheduled for today.
It's been learnt that Sambi deal includes a €12 million purchase option for the La Liga side, allowing them to make the transfer permanent next summer. Additionally, Arsenal has secured a 25% sell-on clause, ensuring they receive a quarter of any future transfer fee Sevilla receives for Sambi-Lokonga if they exercise the buy option.
This loan move presents an opportunity for Sambi-Lokonga to gain regular playing time, having struggled to break into Arsenal's starting lineup under Mikel Arteta. The central midfielder joined Arsenal in 2021 with high expectations following his impressive displays at Anderlecht.
But struggled to get into the first team at Arsenal which made him go on loan to Crystal Palace and last season Luton Town.
