If you recall the Dutch midfielder joined MUFC in 2020 from Ajax, where he had established himself as a key player. Despite scoring on his debut against Crystal Palace, his time at Manchester United was ultimately limited. He made a total of 36 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils, contributing 2 goals.
In search of regular playing time, van de Beek embarked on two loan spells. He joined Everton for the second half of the 2021/22 season, featuring in their Premier League campaign. He later spent the first half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
