A leaked audio recording has surfaced online, capturing a conversation between Isreal Afeare, logistics manager for Nigerian artist Davido, and Sophia Momodu, Davido's ex-girlfriend. The conversation appears to be an apology from Isreal to Sophia, following comments he made about her on social media.
In the audio, Sophia can be heard expressing her displeasure and frustration with Isreal, stating, "Isreal respect yourself! Because when David is maltreating Imade, you guys keep quiet as if you do not know what he is doing. All of you have kept quiet and watched this man abandon his child. Then you have the audacity to be saying………I dey take care of my pikin, you dey talk of your Oga money….You people should mind yourself,. The only reason why I am not insulting you right now is because we are from the same place."
Isreal responds, "Madam Sophie, listen to me, you are my sister now!" However, Sophia quickly corrects him, stating she is not his sister and doesn't know him in that capacity. Isreal continues, "Ask Oga if I have ever said bad of you and if I have not been asking of Imade. I am telling you the fact."
Sophia warns Isreal, demanding he cease spreading lies about her on social media. She emphasizes that Davido has not provided financial support for their daughter, Imade, in three years. Isreal repeatedly apologizes, saying, "Madam abeg Sorry. Madam Sophie I beg."
