Chelsea have opted to grant Cole Palmer, Marc Cucurella, and Conor Gallagher an extended break, leading them to miss the club's pre-season tour of the United States.
Instead, they will begin their training at Cobham in early August. This decision comes after the trio's extensive involvement with their national teams over the summer.
If you recall that Palmer and Gallagher both represented England, while Cucurella played for Spain. All three players reached the final of the European Championship in July.
By providing Palmer, Gallagher, and Cucurella with additional rest, Chelsea aims to ensure they are fully prepared for the demanding season ahead.
Meanwhile Palmer along with Gallagher and Cucurella, will start their training programs at Cobham while the remainder of the squad is still in the United States.
