American rapper Snoop Dogg drew international attention by carrying the Olympic torch through Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris, just hours before the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony.
On July 26, 2024, Snoop Dogg participated as one of the key torchbearers, completing the final segment of the Olympic flame relay before the commencement of the Paris Games.
At 52, Snoop Dogg carried the torch through Saint-Denis, a northern Parisian suburb home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium, the town’s basilica, and the Olympic Village.
In addition to his role in the torch relay, Snoop Dogg will serve as a contributor to NBC’s Olympic coverage, providing regular updates and unique insights on the events in Paris.
