Manchester United Football Club has officially unveiled its away kit for the 2024-25 season, created in collaboration with adidas. This new design is a tribute to the three rivers that flow through Manchester—the Irk, Medlock, and Irwell—which are emblematic of the connection between Old Trafford and the city itself.
Design and Aesthetic
The kit features a distinctive embossed 'M' motif, echoing the 3D monograms seen on Manchester United kits three decades ago. It sports a navy blue base adorned with royal blue circular patterns, and lighter shades of blue are incorporated into the polo club collar for added contrast.
Modern Features and Technology
Contemporary details include silver accents on the adidas three stripes along each shoulder, as well as on the adidas and sponsor logos and the Manchester United Devil emblem on the back of the collar. The kit is designed with advanced technology: the on-field version uses HEAT.RDY technology to enhance airflow and keep players cool, while the fan version is equipped with AEROREADY technology to ensure dryness.
