Bournemouth FC has secured a major coup in the transfer market, agreeing to a deal with Porto for the signing of Brazilian striker Evanilson. 
The highly coveted forward will join the Cherries in a package worth €47 million, with €37 million paid upfront and the remaining balance in add-ons.
Evanilson's arrival marks a significant milestone for Bournemouth, as he is set to replace Dominic Solanke, who recently departed for Tottenham Hotspur in a £65 million deal. The Brazilian's impressive goal-scoring record and versatility make him an ideal replacement for Solanke, and a valuable addition to Gary O'Neil's squad.
The transfer is nearing its final stages, with medical tests booked and Evanilson expected to travel to Bournemouth shortly. Once the formalities are completed, the 23-year-old will become the club's record signing, surpassing the €30 million paid for Jefferson Lerma in 2018.
