The protester, equipped with placards bearing messages in Hausa, made his way through the Farwa-Marriri area, situated along the frequently traveled Maiduguri highway. His march drew attention as he voiced his discontent with the current conditions.

"The suffering is too much; we must register our grievances. It’s our right to do so," the man declared, underscoring the urgency and necessity of expressing his concerns amid the ongoing difficulties faced by the community.
