João Cancelo has officially joined Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal from Manchester City in a deal valued at €25 million.
The Portuguese full-back signed a three-year contract with the club, where he will earn a net salary of €15 million annually.
Cancelo's time at Manchester City was marked by significant success, where he made 154 appearances and scored 9 goals. He was a crucial part of the squad that won three Premier League titles.
However, his relationship with Pep Guardiola soured, leading to loan spells at Bayern Munich in the second half of the 2022-23 season and Barcelona for the 2023-24 season.
During his time with Barcelona, Cancelo made 42 appearances and scored 4 goals.
