In an open letter shared on social media this morning, Peter expressed his concerns over Paul's repeated assertions in various interviews, where Paul has claimed primary responsibility for writing most of the songs they performed together. Peter finds these claims misleading and inaccurate. He emphasized that when discussing their music, he consistently referred to their work as a collective effort, using terms like "we" and "us." However, he noted that Paul often takes sole credit for the songs, even when Peter is present.

Peter accused his brother of disrespecting his contributions, his family, and his creative ideas. He also alleged that Paul, along with their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, has been complicit in efforts to undermine him. Peter wrote, "What do you truly gain by constantly disrespecting and belittling me all the time? You have disrespected my wife, disrespected my family, disrespected my talent, disrespected my ideas, and even sided with Jude when he was clearly trying to oppress me."

Peter argued that Paul's actions seem intended to turn their fans against him. However, he believes these attempts have failed, as their fans continue to love them for their unique partnership rather than their individual talents.

Peter also mentioned that later today, August 12, he plans to address reports suggesting that he has involved the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a dispute with Paul and Jude.
