Toby Forge Threatens Malice Over Kassia's Marital Status
Toby Forge, a housemate on Big Brother Naija Season 9, has issued a warning to fellow contestant Kassia, stating that he may hold a grudge if he discovers she is involved in a relationship with her husband, Kellyrae.
At the launch event, Kassia and Kellyrae shared that although they are married, they intended to keep their relationship a secret while in the house.
During a conversation on Saturday night, Toby, who is unaware of Kassia’s marital status, has shown a growing interest in her since the beginning of the show. He expressed that he would be “pissed off” if he learned that Kassia is actually in a relationship with Kellyrae. Toby criticized the couple, asserting that Kassia’s beauty should not be concealed by any man and emphasizing that Kellyrae, being present in the house, should have no reason to pretend.
Toby elaborated, “My mind is telling me there’s somebody outside. I’ve seen you and Kelly, that’s true friendship, but if it turns out to be Kelly, I’d be so angry.” This reflects his suspicion that the bond between Kassia and Kellyrae might extend beyond mere friendship.
When Kassia responded with confusion, asking, “Ah ahnn why?” Toby explained further, “I would be so pissed off that I might hate him sef, because there is no reason for him to pretend.” His reaction highlights his belief that Kellyrae’s presence in the house should preclude any need for secrecy about their relationship.
Kassia questioned, “Are you for real?” to which Toby confirmed, “Yes, I might not talk to you again ever, it will be paining me, like nobody should hide you, I would never hide you.” This statement underscores Toby’s strong sense of betrayal and his unwillingness to continue associating with Kassia if he perceives dishonesty.
Kassia then asked why Kellyrae’s involvement would bother him more than another potential suitor outside the house. Toby responded, “Because he is here and he has every time and moment to show you that I don’t wanna hide, even if it’s a tactic….. You people behave so suspicious. The way you guys hug, the way you guys talk, it’s too suspicious.” Here, Toby is expressing his dissatisfaction with what he perceives as covert interactions between Kassia and Kellyrae.
Kassia defended their behavior, stating, “How do we talk? We barely even sit together.” Toby countered, “Exactly but when you guys are in contact, you can know that there’s a strong bond there. I don’t know if it’s love or friendship but whatever bond it is, it’s very very distracting.” Toby’s comments reveal his discomfort with the apparent closeness between Kassia and Kellyrae, which he finds distracting.
He concluded with a final warning: “So if it’s Kelly and you’re pretending, I won’t talk to you guys again.” This remark encapsulates Toby’s firm stance, indicating that any further perceived deceit would result in him severing communication with both Kassia and Kellyrae.
