The altercation took place at a California residence owned by Gary Pagar, who accused DaBaby of assaulting him during the filming of Stunna 4 Vegas’ "Play You Lay" music video. Pagar alleged that the conflict arose due to disagreements over filming restrictions on his property.
According to court filings from Friday, September 27, DaBaby, a Diamond-certified rap sensation, and Pagar have reached a global settlement. Both parties have formally requested the cancellation of any future court hearings, signaling that the case is on the verge of closure as final settlement documents are prepared.
The lawsuit stems from a physical confrontation, during which Pagar claimed DaBaby struck him, resulting in the loss of a tooth. The incident added to a series of legal hurdles for the rapper at a time when his career was on a sharp upward trajectory.
In a show of his intent to move beyond legal troubles, DaBaby released a new project titled "How TF Is This A Mixtape?" the same day the settlement was announced. This latest music drop underscores his desire to focus on his artistry and leave the courtroom battles behind.
