Officers from the Anambra State Police Command have been apprehended following the alleged fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man named Ebuka along the Onitsha/Owerri road on Wednesday, September 4.
Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu reported the incident online, stating that the officers involved went into hiding after the shooting. According to Gwamnishu, Ebuka was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His body has since been placed in the mortuary.
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident to ensure justice is served.
